Slimy Friends

By PaisleyJade - Tuesday, January 12, 2010

Recently we decided to take the kids to a local beach for a quick dip and search of the rock pools.

My dreams of a warm summers evening hanging out as a family quickly faded away as the temperature dropped and we were nearly all blown away by the strong winds and frozen to death by the chill.

Thankfully, children being children, the kids weren't put off at all by the freezing temperature and decided to have a swim in the ocean (I remember being like that as a kid). Soon after that we all had a look in the rock pools and discovered these creepy sea slugs!

I suppose they are quite beautiful (especially to someone like David Attenborough) with all their green and brown sliminess. The kids loved having holds (including the big kid) and we were once again amazed at God's creation, and the fact that he would create such weird creatures like these!

Well, I like to hold little crepy animals too, but those slugs would be just too much for me, I guess.
