Things I'm Loving...

By PaisleyJade - Friday, December 09, 2011

I wholeheartedly believe that no matter what is happening in your life, there is always something that you can be thankful for... no matter how simple it is.

It's that busy time of the year, but there is also so much to love! Here are a few of the things I am loving at the moment...

Loving hanging with my favourite guy on his days off...

Loving more birthday treats!  Did I ever tell you how much I love Russian Dolls?

Thanks to Meghan for this special surprise parcel in the mail!!

Loving girls who rock at mowing the lawn (she takes after her Grandma)!

Loving how God paints the sky at night...

Loving the most amazing Oreo Cookie Frappés!!

Loving winning this cute purse from the amazing Sophie at Little Gumnut...

Finally, loving Christmas lights.  Some may think of them as cheap and tacky (hey - I might be that 'some' one) but there is nothing quite like seeing the wide eyes of your kids as you drive past them.

Here's how you can join in....
Link up below with your blog post telling us what thing/s you are loving, and don't forget to link back to here in your post (or use this button below) and visit the others who have joined in too. Linky open until Sunday!!

  1. Those Frappe's look awesome and all your postal treats. I'm in 2 minds about lights on houses they are SO magical and pretty and yet also, tacky! But I think that the magic outweighs the tack!

  2. I love all the lights and dec's of christmas time - it's a great time of year - the more lights the better. There is a chap who works at our local council who decorates the outside of his house every year with more and more lights but in the process has set it all up to raise money for charity. He does this every year! That is true dedication to the spirit of christmas :)

  4. I love russian dolls too and use them in my Playcentre tutor roll to demostate the influence of the wider community on a childs life. She is surrounded by first her parents, then wider family, community, the country and then the world. For some God features in there too.

I'm sure the christmas lights could be done tastefully but they are fun for the kids.

  10. Oh my, that Oreo Cookie Frappé looks divine!

We put Christmas lights up outside this year for the first time. Hubby didn't want to do it for the exact reason you stated- cheap and tacky- but was sold on the idea once he seen the kids faces the first time they seen ours.

Loving your Russian dolls goodies too! I have the exact same coffee cup and measuring spoons.
