Finally, after a year and a half (the longest time yet that it's taken me to finished a blanket) I can show you my FINISHED granny stripe blanket!

I started this blanket in the Christmas holidays of 2019, with the inspiration from @nattythread to make a bright and happy granny stripe blanket using my leftover yarn. 

The usual expectation when I start my annual blanket is that it will be done within a year, but I started this one super wide with the idea I'd make a big blanket, then lost hope halfway through. My bright and happy blanket turned into a big, gaudy burden.

Massive thanks to my crafty girlfriends who encouraged me to turn it into a single blanket and am so happy it's finally done!

I think I'm going to do a few smaller crochet projects next before committing to another big blanket.
