♥ Weekend Bliss ♥

By PaisleyJade - Monday, July 18, 2011

I love weekends!

The kids are on two weeks holiday for term break, so I buttered them up with cake and chocolate biscuits and then laid down the law engaged them in a bit of 'holiday good behaviour' brainstorming and boredom-buster ideas (yes, that is a big lump of purple playdough on one of my children's forks... I only spotted it now).

They came up with such great ideas... lets just hope it all works out!

Loved hearing my hubby preach at church on Sunday morning, followed by a wee bit of Sunday afternoon Barney & Boo cuddling on the bed (naughty, I know).

p.s. For those interested in all things beard related... it's still here!

Just call me "Animal Whisperer Lady"...

I hope you had a wonderful weekend too!

  1. If you find a successful way to convince your hubby to shave his beard, please let me know as my hubs is sporting some serious scruff! Happy Sunday to you!

  6. Tee hee, like involving your children in cooking & they'll eat the food - involving them in your school holiday plans makes them enjoy it even more!! We're having a ball, one more week off school & exploring new places. We do a one day out, one day home kind of routine, that home day normally involves home baking & left overs serve as snacks for the following day out, brilliant. Try macarons/ macaroons, they are brilliant & food colouring makes them even more fun for the children. As for playdough, my 3rd daughter could not help herself but eat it (thank goodness it was the homemade stuff) as she's a savory salt lover!! That meant my darling boy didn't have much experience with playdough, until preschool. Love Posie
