  1. This brings up so many memories for me... many moons ago I bought my boyfriend (now ex) an Indian ringneck parakeet for his birthday. It's all he wanted. She (he?) was bright yellow with a red ring - she looked beautiful but she was pure evil. She would rip the wallpaper just like this, sit on the curtain rails and poop down the curtains, she would sit on your shoulder innocently then turn on you in a split second and latch onto your earlobe (blood was drawn many times), she would rip holes in your clothes and was just insane. We tried so hard to give her attention and love to 'tame' her but she was a lost cause I think. Then the door was accidentally (?) left open one day and she disappeared forever. The end. Hehehe but I'm sure your lovely bird is much better behaved! Minus the wallpaper incident...

  4. Ah yes. I have a similar creature (prob not as clever as yours) and similar wall-paper carnage.

  7. Oh! That is a scream! I'm sorry about the wall, but this is just too cute!

My sister in law has always had birds, and they do get into some naughtiness. That one is GORGEOUS, even though he does like to eat things that he shouldn't. But come to think of it... people are like that, too. Put chocolate in front of me, and look out! ;-)

Thanks for your sweet comments on my tablescape. Stores like Dollar Tree (everything in the store is a dollar!), Marshall's, Home Goods, TJ Maxx, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and Goodwill have made tablescaping in the States a lot easier to accomplish and easier on the pocket book, too. Of course, one does need space for storage, and that can be a bit tricky. I'd rather have dishes than clothes, and the dishes in my closets speak to that point!

    XO,

    Sheila :-)
