I am falling in love with vintage and retro fabrics - especially anything paisley! I often start to drool at the dream of a few hours in town alone to scout amongst the fabric stores. I may just have to suggest this idea to mandrake for a mother's day treat! (hopefully he will read this blog and get the hint!)

Haha. I am hand sewing a little bear at the moment and am using one of those fabrics you've got there. I have been building up a little collection ..... I find them hard to resist too!

ReplyDeleteWill have to see the end result! I'm a bit rusty on the handsewing, but have been inspired to pick it up again! (And sewing machines and I have a trying history!)
ReplyDeleteI try hard not to go to spotlight often - I deserve shares in the company, I think! There is just way too much to buy! I'm scouting the sallies for old retro curtains etc too now, but haven't had much luck!
