Lately around these parts we've been laying low as hubby recuperates after having his knee surgery. It's taken a full week for him to start to feel normal again, and in that time I've realised that the nursing profession is definitely not my calling!  I am so thankful for our nurses and doctors and free medical care here in New Zealand.  It's so easy to grizzle and complain at times when it comes to the health sector (or education etc), but compared to many parts of the world, we are truly blessed here in New Zealand.  Yes, there are sometimes problems and things that need addressing and solving, but we are so blessed and need to keep reminding ourselves of that simple fact!  😊ut

Loving nearing the end of making this bright granny square blanket... just stitching in the loose ends and looking forward to posting some finished pics soon!

Love our precious extended family.  These blondies are so cute!

Love Boo... she's been unwell lately and is getting on in years.  This is her favourite place to nap at the moment.,,

Constantly breathless at the beautiful sunsets, sunrises and moody, cloudy skies I've seen lately. God is amazing...

The school holidays are over and the kids are all back to school tomorrow.  It's been a good break!

Have a wonderful week everyone!
