Granny blanket update...

By PaisleyJade - Monday, February 24, 2014

My Cross Granny Square blanket is coming along nicely!  Since the last time I showed you it, I've added the turquoise colour as well, which I'm loving!

I love the fact that I'm not getting bored with this project.  When I get sick of doing the different coloured squares, I move to joining them in crosses then attaching them to the blanket.

I even did a bit of crochet at the hairdressers the other day, and she loved the blanket style so much she is going to do one too (double yay for having an awesome hairdresser who loves to crochet as well!).

Not sure how big I'm going to make it yet?

  5. Hi!
What size hook and what type of yarn did you use? I'm keen to make one really similar and can't work out which way to start!
    Any advice would be awesome.

    1. Hi Katherine! I can't remember sorry as it was so long ago, but probably a 4mm and just acrylic yarn. It's just simply granny squares so look on youtube and give it a go! I did a post here with some tips to help you get started.... http://www.paisleyjade.com/2011/05/how-to-crochet.html
