I was trying to get a bit of a retro look with some of these crochet phone covers by using orange and brown wool... but I'm now wondering if they look more rastafarian than retro?
Would you believe that it took me years to find out that my mother's bridesmaids wore orange dresses at my parents wedding! After all the years of me gazing at her black and white wedding photo's, I never thought to ask what colour the dresses were. Mum was obsessed with orange back then... now she hates it.
Anyway, I'm sure there must be some rastafarian people out there who need covers for their mobile phones... maybe I should make the photo's black and white for the shop so people don't get scared away?
In the shop soon!

At my house today we have Miss 5 home with a very sore toe... so we decided to make Peppermint Playdough for the girls.
I have memories of my mother slaving over the stove cooking playdough up for us as kids. Since then (thanks to Playcentre) I have discovered the easiest and most fail proof playdough recipe... and adding a few drops of essence like peppermint, makes it all the more fun!
(Head over to Buttons by Lou Lou to play along and tell us what's happening at your house today too).
Easy Playdough
2 cups boiling water
2 tablespoons cream of tartar
2 tablespoons oil
food colouring (add essence if you want too)
½ cup salt
3 cups flour
Mix the first 5 ingredients then add flour and beat until smooth!
